Hope Horizons Cancer Wellness Centre opened its doors in Toowoomba, Southeast Queensland in 2017.
Born from a desire to see free allied health services provided for those living with cancer in the region, while ever cancer remains our mission is to diminish its impact.
Our services are provided with no out-of-pocket expense to our clients, with the gap costs covered wholly by our fundraising efforts.
Our beautiful home, the Jenny Black Cancer Wellness Centre has been built through the generosity of the Black family and the entire Toowoomba community.
We invite you to visit us and be part of the exciting future of Hope Horizons.
Positions available
Clinical Nurse
As our Clinical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals across all stages of the cancer journey; from diagnosis and treatment through to survivorship and beyond.
Working within the Hope Horizons model of care, you will provide holistic, person-centred support through comprehensive health and wellbeing assessments, care planning, education and care coordination. You will act as a trusted point of contact for clients, helping them navigate the healthcare system while promoting positive health outcomes and wellbeing.
Due to the nature of this role, we would love to speak to applicants who are looking for 32-38 hours per week, ideally worked across Monday – Friday week.
Community Engagement & Fundraising Officer
As the Community Engagement & Fundraising Officer, you will help connect our community to the work and impact of Hope Horizons by building strategic partnerships and supporting the long-term sustainability of Hope Horizons through fundraising and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
This is a dynamic and relationship-focused role that combines community engagement, partnership development, fundraising, and communications to increase awareness, support, and long-term sustainability. You'll work alongside Friends of Hope Horizons, local businesses, donors and community supporters to strengthen the networks that sustain and grow our organisation.
Clinical Representative – Management Committee
We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our Management Committee and contribute their expertise to the governance of the organisation. This is a voluntary governance role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on cancer support services across our region.
The Clinical Representative provides strategic clinical insight to the Management Committee, helping ensure Hope Horizons continues to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed and community-focused services.
This is not an operational or clinical service delivery role.
