    Kerry brings extensive experience in healthcare operations, practice management, and team leadership, with a strong background in primary and rural healthcare. She is passionate about supporting people, building positive and respectful workplace cultures, and creating practical systems that help teams and organisations thrive.

    Kerry values collaboration, compassion, and genuine connection and is excited to being her experience to Hope Horizons, contributing to an organisation that makes a meaningful difference in the lives and families within the Hope community. 

  • Clinical Nurse Coordinator

    Tanya is a Clinical Nurse with 10 years of experience in Queensland Health and a diverse clinical background spanning Oncology, Surgical, Neonatal, Infection Control and Complex Care Coordination. She has undertaken postgraduate study in advanced Nursing, including postgraduate qualifications in Oncology, Leadership and Research. She is passionate about lifelong learning, evidence-based practice and finding meaningful ways to improve the experiences and outcomes of patients and their families.

    Her experience in oncology has become particularly meaningful to her, both professionally and personally. Having had many close family and friends affected by cancer, Tanya has seen firsthand the impact a cancer diagnosis can have on an individual, their family and their loved ones. These experiences have given her a genuine understanding of the importance of compassion, connection and holistic support throughout the cancer journey.

    Tanya is committed to looking beyond the diagnosis and recognising the person behind it. Their strengths, individual needs and the things that matter most to them. She believes that sometimes the smallest moments of kindness, a listening ear or simply helping someone feel heard and understood can make a meaningful difference during what can be an incredibly difficult time.

    Joining Hope Horizons is particularly meaningful to Tanya, bringing together her professional experience, her passion for supporting people affected by cancer and her own personal connection to the cancer journey. She is excited to be part of a team that provides a safe, welcoming and supportive space where people feel heard, valued and cared for.

  • Experienced Registered Nurse, midwife and senior healthcare leader with 48 years’ experience across clinical practice, nursing and midwifery leadership, education, rural and regional health, clinical governance and service management. Carolyn has held senior leadership roles including Nursing Director, Director of Nursing & Midwifery, Assistant Nursing Director and Senior Manager Operations, leading multidisciplinary teams, organisational change, workforce development and complex health services.

    Alongside her healthcare leadership expertise, Carolyn brings specialist qualifications in mindfulness, meditation, coaching, holistic counselling, Reiki and yoga. She is passionate about integrating clinical leadership with compassionate, holistic approaches that support resilience, wellbeing and sustainable performance.
